Top 5 Business Apps on Android in Latin America - Q3 2024

The third quarter of 2024 has been an eventful period for business apps on the Android platform in Latin America. According to Sensor Tower data, several apps have demonstrated notable trends in downloads and active user engagement.

Microsoft Teams saw a progressive increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 256K at the beginning of July and reaching a peak of nearly 500K in early September. The app's active user base also followed a similar upward trajectory, starting at approximately 2.8M and peaking at 3.4M by the end of September.

Zoom Workplace maintained a consistent revenue stream, averaging around $21K to $23K weekly. Downloads spiked notably in the last week of September, hitting 500K. Active users climbed steadily, starting at roughly 3.6M and exceeding 4M by the quarter's close.

The performance of Cryptoguru: Trading Simulator revealed a contrasting trend, with weekly downloads gradually decreasing from about 247K in early July to just over 107K by the end of September. Despite this, active users increased from 372K to 634K, indicating a strong retention rate among users.

For Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver, downloads saw a declining trend from 262K at the start of the quarter to around 161K by the end. The app's active user numbers remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 2.8M mark throughout the quarter.

Lastly, DiDi Driver: Drive & Earn Cash experienced a surge in downloads mid-quarter, peaking at 148K in late August. Active users grew consistently, starting at 792K and reaching nearly 879K by the end of September.
